Miscellaneous

Miscellaneous items are general products and services, sold per unit at the store's pricelist prices. It is the simplest console: you pick the product, enter the quantity and, if needed, adjust the price.

Adding a product

There are two ways to add a product to the sale.

From the grid. On the last (blank) row of the Miscellaneous grid, open the Item field (press ENTER or click), find the product with the mouse or the arrow keys and press ENTER to confirm. The cursor moves on to Qty — enter the quantity. The row is entered.

From the finder. For large pricelists, use the finder on the left (the Search items… box): type a keyword (for example, cement) and press ENTER. Select the product from the results list and double-click (or ENTER) to add it to the grid.

No repeated products

A product already in the sale cannot be entered again. To change the quantity, edit the existing row.

The grid fields

Field	What it does
Item	The product. Shows the items available on the store's pricelist.
Qty	Quantity sold.
Unit	Filled in automatically from the product (UN, kg, bag…).
Price/unit	Unit price. Starts at the store price; can be changed.
Variation	Surcharge or discount against the pricelist price, in %.
Subtotal	Qty × Price/unit (calculated automatically).

The Price/unit and Variation fields are linked: if the customer settles on a lower price, edit the Price/unit and the Variation shows the matching discount — or edit the Variation directly and the Price/unit adjusts.

Return of goods

A negative quantity records the return of a product.

Notes

• Discontinued products: if a product is discontinued after the sale was saved, it appears greyed out and cannot be edited.
• Items on a delivery: an item already scheduled or delivered allows only the quantity to be changed. To change the rest, remove it from the delivery or cancel the delivery.
