Slabs

The Slabs console enters precast slabs and their components, at the pricelist price. There are three product types:

  • Beams — precast joists, quoted in linear metres.
  • Blocks — ceramic or polystyrene infill blocks, quoted in units.
  • Slabs — a predefined combination of beams and blocks, quoted in square metres.

Adding a product

  1. In ID, give the piece a name (e.g. B1, K1, S1).
  2. In Code, choose the product from the list — each product has its own code (e.g. VIGA CONV, BLOCO H8 CER25, LAJE H8 ISO). The Beam type, Block type and Unit are filled in automatically.
  3. Fill in the dimensions according to the type:
  4. Beam: the Beam (cm) (beam length) and the quantity in Beams.
  5. Block: the quantity in Blocks.
  6. Slab: the Beam (cm) and the Width (cm) (the span). The program calculates the number of blocks needed and the Subtotal.

Editing the Price/un applies a Variation, and vice versa.

Editing beam and block type

Instead of searching by Code, you can edit the Beam type and Block type directly — provided the combination is valid. An invalid combination (for example, an H12 beam with H25 blocks) turns the Code red. New combinations are created in the pricelist by a user with the appropriate privilege.

Beam complements

A complement is additional reinforcing bars cast into the beam. Select it in the Complement column; the Extra field (to the right) is calculated automatically with the value of those bars. You can edit the Extra, but it is recalculated if the Complement or the number of Beams changes.

Notes

  • The beam length is usually a multiple of 10 cm; if it is not, the program shows a warning (without blocking entry).
  • Mesh and welded fabric that go with the slab should be entered through the Miscellaneous console.
  • Items on a delivery already scheduled or delivered cannot be edited or deleted without first reverting the delivery.
  • To delete items or apply Quick Price to several at once, see the Sales page.
